CANTONERA (Live Cut)
Timber sawed from side to side. They utilized the
middle of the log.
ORILLA (Slab Cut):
Cut on the exterior sides, leaving the natural convex
form in one of them. They utilized the edges of the log.
TRASLAPO (Overlap)
The new technology allowed the sawing of the wood in a particular shape which allowed the planks to be overlapped with each other.
MACHIMBRE (Tongue and Groove)
This is another way of sawing wood that gave timber a
form that fits with each other.
Capraro had a characteristic cut style identified
by the added notch in the middle.
