MUESTRA TEMÁTICA DE CONSTRUCCIONES POPULARES DE LA REGIÓN

Con la intención de rescatar el Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial, construido por los saberes populares; se ha diseñado este recorrido en el que se relata en detalle las técnicas constructivas y materiales empleados por los pioneros desde los primeros años de historia de nuestra localidad para hacer sus viviendas y otras mejoras (corrales, cercos, etc...)
La estructura que recrea las mismas, ha sido realizada por un pionero de la localidad, Sr. Víctor Hugo Morales quien es nacido en la costa norte del lago es uno de los pobladores que conoce las técnicas populares de construcción; entre ellas, la de hacer tejuelas de ciprés.
Es de destacar que la madera ha sido donada por descendientes de familias pioneras y parte del mismo pertenece a una vivienda antigua de un viejo poblador que fue desmantelada y se rescató la madera para ser utilizada en la técnica de “Palo amordazado” o “Block-House”.
Sirva además como homenaje y reconocimiento a todos aquellos que con su aporte de saberes han contribuido a forjar nuestro pueblo.

THEMATIC EXHIBITION OF POPULAR CONSTRUCTIONS OF THE REGION

This tour has been designed with the intention of preserving de Intangible Cultural Heritage made of the popular knowledge, where the constructive techniques and the materials employed by the pioneers since the first years of our town are explained in detail. These were used to build houses as well as fences and other improvements.

The structure that recreates them has been realized by a pioneer of the town, Sr. Victor Hugo Morales, who was born in the north shore of the lake, Is one of the settlers that knows the traditional construction techniques, like making cypress roof tiles.

It´s worth noting that the wood has been donated by descendants of pioneer families and part of it belongs to the ancient house of an old settler that was dismantled and from which some of the wood was salvaged to be used in the “Log Corners” or “Block House” techniques.

Let it be a homage and recognition to all those who have contributed with their knowledge to the forging of our town.
