One of the most spectacular manifestations of geological activity on Earth are; without a doubt, volcanoes. There are many kinds based on were the lava comes out and how it erupts. Volcanoes are distributed through specificregions of the planet, and can stay inactive for years, decades or even centuries. But when they erupt; it generates a big impact in society in diverse ways.
