Volcanoes are one of the main endogenous modeling agents of the landscape. Theyshapethe relief and grantthe proper conditions for the flora´s development. The beautiful view characteristic of the area that is so attractive it´s modeled greatly by volcanism. Many mountains, cascades, the beaches and the forests, thermal fountains and the curious rock formations are the result of volcanic eruptions that leave their essencein the material that they release, be it fluid lava that originates the hard rocky floors or pyroclasts (rocks and ashes) that make a very unstable surface in thecase of ashes.
